Child Safety Standards
Last Updated: June 24, 2026
Our Commitment
Coloquio has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in all forms. We are committed to maintaining a safe platform and actively work to prevent, detect, and respond to content or behavior that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
This policy applies to all user-generated content on Coloquio, including event listings, event covers, profile images, Memories, comments, and any other media uploaded through the platform.
Age Requirements
Coloquio requires all users to be at least 13 years old. Users between 13 and 17 years old must provide verifiable parental or legal guardian consent during registration. We enforce this requirement at the database level to prevent circumvention.
Additionally, the purchase of event tickets is strictly limited to users who are 18 years of age or older, in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on Coloquio and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities:
- Any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or abuses minors (CSAM)
- Events, images, or descriptions that involve or target minors in a sexual manner
- Grooming, solicitation, or any predatory behavior directed at minors
- Sharing, distributing, or promoting CSAM in any form
- Creating events designed to facilitate contact with minors for exploitative purposes
- Using Memories, comments, or any other feature to share exploitative content involving minors
Detection and Prevention
Coloquio employs the following measures to prevent CSAE:
- Age verification: Server-side enforcement of the 13+ minimum age requirement, validated at the database level during registration
- Content moderation: Automated and manual review of user-generated content, including event listings, profile images, and Memories
- User reporting: In-app reporting tools available on all events, profiles, and content — accessible directly from the event detail screen, profile page, and individual Memories
- Account monitoring: Proactive detection of suspicious behavior patterns, including rapid account creation and mass content uploads
- Parental consent: Users between 13–17 must have verifiable parental consent, and their access to paid ticket purchases is restricted
How to Report
If you encounter content or behavior that you believe involves the sexual exploitation or endangerment of a child:
- In-app: Use the "Report" button on any event, user profile, or piece of content. Reports are reviewed with the highest priority.
- Email: Send a detailed report to zdenkoabarca@coloquio.space with the subject line "CHILD SAFETY REPORT".
- Authorities: Contact your local law enforcement immediately if a child is in immediate danger. Do not wait for our response — call emergency services first.
Response Process
Upon receiving a report involving potential CSAM or CSAE:
- The reported content is immediately reviewed and removed if it violates our policy.
- The associated account is suspended pending investigation.
- We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline and to local authorities as required by applicable law.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
- Confirmed offenders are permanently banned and their data is preserved solely for the purpose of assisting authorities.
