What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your browser or device when you visit them. They serve to help the site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, and to help owners understand how the site is used.
Cookies we use at coloquio.space
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of the site and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| coloquio-cookie-consent | Saves your cookie preferences so the banner is not shown again | 365 days |
| __session | Keeps your session active if you are authenticated | Session |
2. Analytics Cookies
These are only activated if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner.
| Provider | Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase / Google Analytics 4 | _ga, _ga_* | Measures site usage anonymously (pageviews, sessions, devices) | 2 years |
| Vercel Analytics | _vercel_* | Measures web performance (Core Web Vitals, load times) | Session |
Note: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We do not use Universal Analytics, which was discontinued. GA4 anonymizes IPs by default and does not use advertising cookies.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you use the embedded event map (Google Maps), Google may set its own cookies. Check the Google Privacy Policy for more information.
We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
